Trade Routes is supporting a business and artist showcase mission to Live At Heart Music Festival & Conference in Örebro, Sweden, August 31- September 3, 2022! Canadian delegates alongside artists are eligible for this opportunity to gain knowledge, industry connections, and mentorship within the Nordic Music Industry. Successful candidates will have shown a strong potential to conduct business in the Nordic Region by demonstrating established international recording, touring or publishing activity.
Up to 30 Canadian delegates and artists will be recruited as part of this initiative.
Those selected will enjoy:

Live at Heart is one of Scandinavia’s biggest showcase festivals and industry conferences. Showcasing the stars of tomorrow and bringing creative professionals together to inspire, learn and create. During Live at Heart, hundreds of artists, filmmakers, industry delegates and thousands of Live at Heart fans come together in the heart of Örebro, coming from different backgrounds, cultures and industries.
Showcasing 150 bands from across the world, filling out a variety of spaces and music venues, using 15 stages, and hosting a full schedule of Interactive Industry Sessions, Arts events, Creative Events and Film screenings throughout the festival. Live at Heart has several joint ventures with festivals around the world, is a founding member of INES and gives plenty of opportunities to start an international career.
Boasting a stage dedicated to Canadian artists, Live at Heart offers a special platform for Canadian artists to get their music known internationally and make cross-border connections.
As such, up to six Canadian artists will have the opportunity to showcase their music during one afternoon/evening on September 1 for an audience comprising of key executives from leading music festival, booking agents, heads of industry associations, key local companies/organizations.
The application is open to Canadian Artists at no cost.
If approved, the fee is $500.00 to showcase and to participate in the conference and business activities. Artists are responsible for their own visa, travel, and accommodations. Trade Routes will aid in border crossing for this showcase. This mission is open to Canadian Artists only.
