Trade Routes is supporting an artist showcasing initiative at APAP|NYC+ in New York City on January 13, 2023.


About APAP | NYC+

The Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) is a national service, advocacy and membership organization for the live performing arts field. The APAP conference is dedicated to developing and supporting a robust performing arts presenting, booking and touring business event for the industry and the professionals who work within it. APAP leads the performing arts presenting industry in the United States, and showcasing during the conference is an invaluable opportunity for artists who are ready to conduct business in the US.


Who is this opportunity for?

This opportunity is for artists that have established international recording, touring or publishing experience and demonstrate a strong potential to conduct business in the US. Artists working in all genres are eligible, and must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a person granted refugee protection under the law.


What is Trade Routes offering?

Trade Routes is offering 15 minute hotel showcase slots during APAP | NYC+ on the evening of January 13th, 2023 at the Hilton Hotel, Midtown. Times to be arranged upon selection. The local production team will provide all required onsite audio equipment and support staff including a full soundcheck for all showcasing artist a basic backline (drums, keyboard guitar and bass amps) and a mini grand piano (optinal upon request). Trade Routes will also lead all promotion and marketing of these showcases.


Are there any fees?

If selected, the fee to showcase is CAD $1250. Artists are responsible for their own visa, travel and accommodations. Please note that this fee does not include access to the conference.
